All schools must provide daily worship for pupils and promote their spiritual, moral and cultural development. Collective worship in maintained schools must be of a broadly Christian character.
To enhance our daily collective worship we also regularly invite visitors in to deliver assemblies. These include staff from the local library, School Governors, local emergency services staff, representatives of registered charities and local churches.
The appropriateness and relevance of the content of all assemblies is discussed with Senior Leaders in advance.

Parent View is an online questionnaire for parents and carers to feed back on their child’s school. Once a school has a sufficient number of responses from parents/carers, results will be published in percentages in easy-to-understand graphs. They can be viewed by schools, parents and carers and the general public on the Parent View website. The results for each school are saved at the end of the academic year, and can then provide Headteachers and governors with a useful year-on-year picture of parents’ views. We can then use parents’ views to help improve our school. Parent View is also used by Ofsted, who will consider parents’ views alongside other evidence to help them form an accurate picture of a school and give it a fair judgement in an inspection. If you would like to give your views on our school this academic year, please log on to www.parentview.ofsted.gov.uk
What is Pupil Premium?
The Pupil Premium gives schools extra funding to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils from reception to year 11. It was introduced in April 2011 for every child registered for free school meals (FSM) and children who had been looked after (LAC) for 6 months or more. Schools were then given an additional £400 per pupil.
From April 2012, pupil premium funding was also extended to all children who have been eligible for free school meals at any point in the past 6 years. This generated a total of £16,500 for 2012 -2013; £25,200 for 2013 -2014.
In the 2014 to 2015 financial year, funding for the pupil premium has increased to £1,300 per pupil and £I,900 per pupil for looked-after children who have been looked after for 1 day or more, or are adopted or leave care under a Special Guardianship or Residence Order. In 2014- 15 the pupil premium funding will be £62,172.
