Football

At Prudhoe West we are very lucky to have 2 school football teams, made up of approximately 25 boys and girls from Year 3 and 4.  In previous years we have been very successful in the local league competing against other schools in the area, and we are doing well so far this year too!

Our 2 teams - Prudhoe West Thunder and Prudhoe West Lightning - train every week with Miss Gray, completing a variety of fitness training, skills training and match play. 

We are hugely grateful for the sponsorship we have been given from Education World and N-Lighten North East,  whose donations have allowed us to buy smart kit for each child to wear when playing.

We also play in other local football festivals when the opportunity arises.
